Jordon Ibe won't be available for Nigeria until 2016

The Liverpool youngster has not yet agreed to switch nationality after meeting with the Super Eagles coach who is positive about the talks held on Monday

Liverpool winger Jordan Ibe won't be ready to play for the Super Eagles this year even if he pledges his allegiance to Nigeria, a top source has reliably informed Goal.
The 19-year-old teenage star, who has been tipped to fill the void left by Raheem Sterling at Anfield Road, is yet to accept a switch despite meeting with new national team coach Sunday Oliseh on Monday.
"Ibe hasn't committed to Nigeria yet but discussions with him were positive because of his acceptance to meet with the crew that visited him," the source told Goal.
"But he won't be ready to feature for the Eagles against Tanzania this year because of the process that entails his switch but he could be ready next year."
Ibe who has featured for England's U19s and U21s scored once in six pre-season games for the Reds who finished out of the top four last term.
Meanwhile, Super Eagles coach Sunday Oliseh has assured players of Nigerian heritage that they will get a chance to dorn the Green and White if they are good.
"You can bet your money that I'm looking at players with Nigerian heritage who have been born or brought up in other countries, I have no choice,” Oliseh told BBC Sport.
"Most of these players, let's be honest, very few of them get to play in other nations for a long time, whereas with Nigeria, these players have the chance regularly, if they are good, to play in the World Cup.
"It's definitely something we are looking at and we've started making moves.
"They are welcome with open arms and we'll do all we can to put them in the best situation if they decide to play for Nigeria because Nigeria needs them and they also need Nigeria to become top, world class players."
