VILNIUS, Lithuania — England wrapped up its qualification campaign for the European Championship with a 3-0 win over Lithuania on Monday.
Ross Barkley opened the scoring shortly before the half-hour mark, stepping inside his marker before curling a right-footed shot away from the goalkeeper and in off the post.
Lithuania stopper Giedrius Arlauskis, who made a series of saves throughout, was credited with England's second after Harry Kane's initial effort cannoned off him and into the net in the 35th. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain added a third in the 62nd.
Elsewhere, second-placed Switzerland beat Estonia 1-0 after an own goal from Ragnar Klavan and Slovenia finished with a playoff spot following a 2-0 win away to San Marino.
