On December 6, 2015, around 9.10pm, I transferred the sum of forty-two thousand naira ( N42, 000) from my GTBank account to my younger sister’s FirstBank account for onward delivery to my father; my account was debited, but my sister never got the money. I just hope that this is not some conspiracy between the two commercial bank to defraud me of my hard-earned money.
This is the second time I will be having this ugly experience with First Bank. I think the bank either needs to upgrade its Internet banking system or better still, needs to purge its system of criminal tendencies.
Before taking this step, I had written a letter of complaints to First Bank via email: complaintsunit@firstbanknigeria.com; yet there was no acknowledgement nor any response.
Below is a copy of the email:

To Whom It May Concern,

If the issue is not resolved before the close of work by tomorrow, December 31, 2015, I will be left with no other choice than to wash the ‘dirty linens’ of these banks in the Nigerian public and International domain.
