Army rescues 605 women, girls

NAN   The Nigeria Army on Wednesday said it had rescued additional 605 women and children during its operation in Sambisa forest.

The Theatre Commander, Maj.-Gen. Leo Irabor, stated this during a press conference at the headquarters of the 7 Division of Operation Lafiya Dole in Maiduguri.

Python Dance: IPOB declares own operation David Dance

Punch   The Indigenous People of Biafra on Tuesday declared Operation David Dance, apparently to counter Operation Python dance declared by Nigeria Army in the South East geopolitical zone about a week ago.

In press statement made available to our correspondent in Awka, Anambra State, by IPOB’s media and publicity secretary,  Emma Powerful, the group  cautioned it’s members to exercise restraint on dealings with security agencies.
