Sean Combs took a moment on Monday to address the incident at UCLA with his son's football coach that led to his arrest earlier this year.
"When you have a child that plays sports, you're actually giving your child up to those coaches," Combs, 45, said during an interview with Power 105's The Breakfast Club. "You have to be able to take a lot. As a Combs, my sons, they have to be able to take a lot, you can't have no soft skin. But I think there's a fine line, too, and I think that there's times when you have to just communicate and find out what's going on and be by your children's side."
On June 22, Combs, whose son Justin is a member of the college's football team, got into a heated conversation with a coach, allegedly swinging a kettle bell during the altercation.
