Speaking with Vanguard in Abuja, the lawmaker said: “It is not an issue of how prepared we (PDP) are. In Edo State, we are ready for change. We have passed through a lot of pains and troubles. PDP will certainly take over in September.”
Explaining why he was exuding such confidence, Edionwele said: “the confidence is that Oshiomhole has not done anything. Nothing has changed. Take it sector by sector. In roads, nothing has changed. In the health sector, nothing has changed. There is no legacy the governor is leaving behind.”
The lawmaker was of the opinion that the PDP will bounce back in Edo State because the people were suffering untold hardship due to over taxation imposed on them by the APC government
