PM NEWS Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode has tactically eased out the current Head of Service, Mrs. Olabowale Ademola who is enmeshed in alleged bribery scandal with her husband, Justice Adeniyi Ademola.
The governor has appointed Mrs Folashade Sidikatu Adesoye as acting HOS.
The decision was taken because the image of the Lagos State Government is being smeared by the arraignment of Ademola with her husband by the Independent Corrupt Practices Commission, for alleged corruption.
The woman has not reported for work in six weeks
An Abuja High Court on Tuesday granted bail to the couple in the sum of N50 million each and adjourned trial till 18 January
The two were arraigned by Federal Government on 11-count of criminal conspiracy to receive gratification in various ways, contrary to Section 8(1)(a) of the Independent Corrupt Practices and other related offences Act 2000.
Justice Ademola was among the seven justices investigated after the sting operations carried out on Oct. 8 and Oct. 9 by the Department of State Services (DSS).
Adesoye, was until her appointment the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, WAPA.
