Ghana’s Black Stars will have to wait another two years to know whether they could win the African Nations Cup, which they last won in 1982.
The Black Stars were knocked out of the competition 0-2 by Cameroon in the semi-final tie played today at Stade de Franceville in Gabon.
After a goalless first half, Cameroon’s Michael Ngadeu-Ngadjui found the net in the 72nd minute.
Despite Ghana mounting pressure to equalise, it was Christian Bassogog for the Indomitable Lions that that slotted in the second goal in the dying minutes.
