2019: INEC deletes 300,000 ineligible voters from list, publishes register Tuesday

As part of efforts aimed at ensuring a clean voters’ register for the 2019 general elections, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has delisted over 300,000 ineligible voters were dropped after the Automatic Fingerprints Identification System (AFIS) screened out their names.
