AFP Buses were waiting to evacuate the last rebel-held parts of Aleppo on Thursday after a new deal was reached for opposition fighters to withdraw from the city.
An AFP correspondent at an army checkpoint on the southern edges of Aleppo saw at least 20 empty buses and five ambulances ready to pick up evacuees.
