‘Tinubu will only leave APC if…’



PUNCH NG    A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Mallam Mohammed Lawal, says a national leader of the APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, will only leave the party if President Muhammadu Buhari quits the ruling party.

Lawal, who was the Deputy Director, Coordination and Implementation of the APC Presidential Campaign Office in 2015, therefore, dismissed reports that there was friction between Tinubu and the President.

The Punch Barring any last-minute change of plans, the proposed mega opposition party in the country will be formed before the end of March, 2017.
It was gathered that the Ahmed Makarfi faction of the Peoples Democratic Party and aggrieved chieftains of the All Progressives Congress had intensified efforts aimed at forming the party since the result of the Ondo State election was released.
