Gov Abiodun reads riots act to Ogun Water Corporation, demands adequate supply


Abiodun advised the leadership of the water corporation to ensure the immediate supply of pipe-borne water to all the nook and cranny of the state.

The Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has given a marching order to the General Manager of the state water corporation, Engineer Oluseye Maku, and his team, to be up and doing or face dire consequences.

Gov Abiodun Begins Payment Of New Minimum Wage To Ogun Workers


Contrary to doubts, insinuations and agitations from different quarters, workers in Ogun State have started rejoicing, upon the alerts of October salary received from their respective banks, with the new minimum wage increase.

It would be recalled that the State Government had an agreement with the leadership of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC), Trade Union Congress (TUC) and Joint Negotiating Council (JNC) to effect the new mimimum wage and this has been fulfilled.

The governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun,  on Wednesday ordered the full reopening hotels, viewing centres, marquees, event centres, suites, guest houses, motels, and establishments providing accommodation, for Tourists or Entertainment, Restaurants, Eateries, Fast Food, Lounges, Bars, and Cinemas in the State.

Coronavirous: Gov. Dapo Abiodun Commissions Three COVID-19 Isolation Centres





Ogun State Government’s efforts to contain the spread of COVID-19 within the state received a massive boost today, Monday, when Governor Dapo Abiodun commissioned  two of the three isolation centres.

Governor Abiodun commissioned the purpose-built isolation centres in Ikenne and Sagamu which has 128 bed and 21 beds respectively, the two of the three in Ogun State – the third being located in Iberekodo, Abeokuta with 100 beds.

Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun has reversed his initial plan not to complete some abandoned projects initiated by former governor Ibikunle Amosun saying the projects will be completed. The governor made this known on Sunday during a post-inauguration thanksgiving service held at the Cathedral of the St. Peters Church, Ake, Abeokuta, the Ogun state capital.
