Reps threaten to arrest IGP Idris


Inspector General of Police Ibrahim Idris

NAN     The House of Representatives on Thursday threatened to issue a bench warrant for the arrest of the Inspector General of Police (I-G), Ibrahim Idris if he fails to appear before its Committee on Police Affairs on Jan. 19.
This followed the adoption of a motion moved by Rep. Gabriel Onyenwife who condemned the continuous refusal of the I-G to honour invitations of the Committee.
