The medical doctor for the New Patriotic Party flag bearer Nana Akufo-Addo has dismissed claims by a US based Africawatch Magazine that his client his sick with acute cancer and kidney problems.

Ghana: Voters deserve respect – Analyst slams 'ridiculous' campaign promises



A Political analyst has offered his diagnosis of the recurrent "ridiculous promises" in the run up to elections in Ghana, blaming the canker on a lack of respect for voters.
Joe Jackson says political party leaders have a deep-seated mentality that electorates will not interrogate these outrageous promises, hence the reason for the mind-boggling campaign policy proposals few months to elections in Ghana.

Pray for wisdom for EC - Nana Addo to Ghanaians

The flagbearer of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Akufo-Addo, has asked Ghanaians to pray for the Electoral Commission “such that God will give them wisdom and the confidence to carry out a free, fair and transparent elections come December 7.”

Nana Addo was speaking at the Gaddiel Acquah Methodist Church in Tarkwa as part of his five-day visit to the Western Region.

I fear Mahama will steal my new ideas - Akufo-Addo

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer Nana Akufo-Addo wants to keep ideas about how to revitalize the “ailing” National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) close to his chest because he fears President John Mahama will steal them.

Speaking at an NPP fundraising event in Hartford, Akufo-Addo claimed the Mahama-led administration has mastered in copying NPP’s policies such as the free SHS concept which was the toast of the 2012 campaign.
