NAN >>>     The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has described the defection of some of its elected officials to other parties as “unwise decision’’ for which they will “pay a political price’’.

The National Chairman of the party, Sen. Ahmed Makarfi, stated this at the PDP caucus meeting held in Abuja.

PDP condemns withdrawal of Wike’s security

NAN   The Leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has condemned the withdrawal of the Chief Security Officer (CSO) to Gov. Nyesom Wike of Rivers State.

A statement from PDP National Publicity Secretary, Prince Dayo Adeyeye, on Tuesday in Abuja disclosed that more than 70 per cent of security personnel detailed to the Rivers State Government House, Port Harcourt had also been withdrawn.

Governor Oshiomhole in alleged multibillion naira scandal

-The Edo state chapter of the PDP has challenged Governor Adams Oshiomhole to reveal to Edo people the owners a guest house and an estimated N5.8 billion residential house along Okoro- Otun Road
-Alleges that the governorship candidate of the APC in the state, Godwin Obaseki, received N1.5 billion as commission for facilitating the N30 billion loan taken by the state government

-Urges traders experiencing difficulties due to the prohibitive and multiple taxes of the state government to reject the APC on September 10 with their votes 

The PDP has put the outgoing APC administration in Edo state on the spot
with allegations of financial impropriety.
