Trump has not banned Nigerians: US embassy



NAN>>>  The US Embassy in Nigeria says there’s no need for Nigerians to cancel travel plans to the United States and says suggestions of a policy change negatively affecting Nigerians are incorrect.
Spokesman Russell K. Brooks responded to an Associated Press request for comment after a Nigerian government statement Monday said some Nigerians with valid multiple-entry U.S. visas have been barred entry and put on the next plane home.

Trump leaves out Iraq in fresh travel ban

President Donald Trump signed a revised executive order for a U.S. travel ban on Monday, leaving Iraq off the list of targeted countries, White House Senior Administration Officials said.
This development happened after his controversial first attempt was blocked in the courts.
The officials said that the new order, which the White House said Trump had signed, will keep a 90-day ban on travel to the U.S. by citizens of six Muslim-majority nations, Iran, Libya, Syria, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen.

The CNN quoting two sources said Flynn resigned Monday night, making him the shortest holder of the post in history.

Agency Reports     Martin Luther King III, son of Martin Luther King Jr., says black Americans will have to engage incoming U.S. President Donald Trump with pressure to ensure that he represents all Americans and not president for some.
King, who made the remarks after a meeting with Trump on Monday to commemorate his father’s birthday, said his meeting with the president-elect was fruitful.
