Death Toll In Damaturu Multiple Blasts Rises To 18

The death toll in the multiple blasts in Damaturu, the Yobe State capital, Nigeria’s Northeast region has increased to 18.

The blasts went off at the Buhari Housing Estate Damaturu, Yobe State. Channels Television’s correspondent in Yobe State says that the injured have been taken to the Sani Abacha Specialist Hospital where they are receiving treatment.

Today’s blasts came less than a month after a suicide bomber detonated a bomb at a major motor park also in Damaturu claiming 6 lives and leaving 43 injured.
