| His imperial Majesty, Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi |
The new Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi has been crowned with the traditional crown called Aare.

Ogunwusi was presented with the crown by the custodians at a place
called Oke-Ora located between Ile-Ife and Osu along Ilesa Road.
The traditional
ruler who appeared in public for the first time after spending twenty
one days in seclusion was accompanied by indigenes of the town and
members of Isoro Community.
Oba Ogunwusi who
had set out at five o clock in the morning visited many strategic places
in the town including his family house and Obalufe Compound to perform
some rites as tradition demands.
Several gun shots were also fired in the air in all the places visited by the monarch.
As at the time of
filling this report, several mats have been laid on the road from Enuwa
to the Palace gate which Oba Ogunwusi would walk on with bare foot to
enter the palace through a traditional gate behind the palace.
According to
findings,it is after all these that the main gate to the palace which
has been closed since the passage of the immediate past Ooni,Oba Okunade
Sijuwade would be opened.
Meanwhile
activities lineup for his inauguration would commence on Monday next
week and ends on the 7th of December with the presentation of staff of
Office by the State Governor,Mr Rauf Aregbesola.
